Business Systems Analyst - Healthcare
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This full-time position involves supporting Platform Solutions Product Owners across CHP, HDF, product integrations, and client implementations. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare, data analytics, and software product environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business requirements discovery and stakeholder workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business requirements into user stories.
- Support Common Data Model (CDM), analytics, reporting, and data platform initiatives by defining business and functional requirements.
- Coordinate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Engineering, QA, and Delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Support customer deployments, product integrations, and migration initiatives through requirements analysis and solution validation.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirements reviews, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Ensure traceability of requirements from business need through delivery and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role within healthcare, data, analytics, or software product environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum product delivery environments.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with healthcare data models, FHIR, OMOP, or Common Data Model (CDM) initiatives.
- Experience supporting healthcare data platforms, analytics, reporting, or data warehousing solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills including Jira, Confluence, SQL, and data analysis fundamentals.
- Understanding of data warehousing, analytics, and reporting concepts.
- Knowledge of FHIR, healthcare interoperability, and healthcare data platforms.
- Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI or Ocean Insights.
- Familiarity with API integrations, data mapping, and data governance concepts.
- Healthcare domain knowledge and Common Data Model (CDM) experience preferred.
- Desirable skills include Data Lakehouse concepts and basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and validation.
