Data Engineer_Snowflake

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer / Data Quality Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, data quality, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake.
  • Apply Snowflake best practices for query and code optimization, performance tuning, and efficient data processing.
  • Stay updated on new and upcoming Snowflake native features and evaluate their applicability to existing data solutions.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and code promotion across environments.
  • Use Git-based code repositories and follow version-control best practices.
  • Perform data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation across data sources and systems.
  • Identify and investigate data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
  • Create and execute test scenarios and test cases to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with country stakeholders to understand data requirements, perform data discovery, and investigate data-related issues.
  • Coordinate with relevant technical and business teams for issue remediation and root-cause analysis.
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of data quality issues.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work effectively across multiple teams in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Communicate technical findings and data issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality processes, testing practices, and development standards.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Good understanding of Snowflake performance optimization and code optimization.
  • Awareness of new and upcoming Snowflake native capabilities/features.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Git or other code repository/version-control tools.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and anomaly detection.
  • Experience in test scenario/test case creation for data or analytics solutions.
  • Ability to perform data discovery and issue investigation.
  • Experience working directly with business/country stakeholders.
  • Good understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
