QA Analyst (ETL & MDM Tester)
We are seeking a skilled ETL & MDM Tester with strong experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing of data integration and Reltio MDM implementations. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across complex ETL pipelines and MDM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of ETL and MDM solutions, from source systems to downstream applications.
- Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data for ETL, MDM, and data validation.
- Validate data ingestion, transformation, matching, merging, survivorship, and publishing in Reltio MDM.
- Test batch and incremental ETL loads, ensuring data completeness and integrity.
- Perform data quality checks including duplicates, hierarchy validation, reference data validation, and business rule verification.
- Validate MDM object models, relationships, crosswalks, and survivorship rules.
- Execute API testing for Reltio inbound/outbound integrations.
- Perform SQL-based data validation across source, staging, and target systems.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, developers, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support UAT and regression testing cycles.
- Ensure testing aligns with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 4?6 years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Reltio MDM testing.
- Solid understanding of MDM concepts: golden record, matching & merging, survivorship, hierarchies, and reference data.
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data validation.
- Experience testing ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or similar).
- Experience validating REST APIs (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
- Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation logic.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
